Moto Guzzi Reveals V7 II

The Moto Guzzi V7 is getting a makeover, and an expanded name.

It will now be the V7 II, presumably for being the second generation of a revived classic. Changes to the model include the addition of ABS and traction control, a six-speed gearbox, lower seat and lower foot pegs.

The 90-degree V-twin remains but the engine has been tilted four degrees forward and lowered to provide more knee room as well. The clutch is also getting softer action; a stiff clutch being a complaint on the V7 when RIDE-CT.com / RIDE-New England reviewed last December. (Read the review here.)

There will be three versions of the V7 II – Stone, Special and Racer. The model will be available in Europe in November. No word on when it will hit the U.S.
