Overnight Thefts At Manchester Honda

MANCHESTER, CT – Thieves smashed the front doors of Manchester Honda-KTM-Husqvarna overnight and made off with two KTM dirt bikes as well as one Husqvarna motorcycle. Surveillance video captured the culprits, mostly dressed in black hoodies, lifting the bikes out of the store through a door and loading them into the bed of a silver Chevy S-10 pickup. The bikes are valued at nearly $30,000.

The thefts occurred about 12:30 a.m. today. An alarm system immediately notified the Manchester Police Department. Manchester Honda-KTM-Husqvarna parts manager John Adamy said, “The police were here shortly after.” However, the thieves had already gotten away. Video shows what looks to be six persons involved in the break-in. A newer Nissan Altima is also seen in the driveway outside the store.

Adamy said the bikes taken were all new 2017 models – a KTM 350 EXC-F with an MSRP of $10,399, a KTM 300 XC-W Six Days with an MSRP of $9,999 and a Husqvarna FC 350 with an MSRP of $9,299. As of late this afternoon, the bikes had not been recovered. “Nothing yet,” Adamy reported.
