Paul Siciliano – Columnist

Sidecar enthusiast and former Connecticut Rider Education Program instructor Paul Siciliano of Rockingham, VT joined RIDE-CT & RIDE-NewEngland in October 2016 as a columnist.

A native of West Harrison, NY, Siciliano has been on two wheels since age seven when he began riding Rupp and Sears minibikes. He was competing in motocross by age 13. Over the years, Siciliano has owned motorcycles built by a half-dozen manufacturers from Benelli to Yamaha.

He currently has a 2002 BMW K 1200 RS, a 1996 Honda Gold Wing Aspencade  (GL1500SE) and a 1989 Honda Gold Wing Aspencade (GL1500) with sidecar.

Siciliano is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, has had a career in the construction industry, and currently works as a home inspector. His passion is riding, though, and he has logged tens of thousands of miles with his dogs, Adicus and Mya, by his side in his sidecar.

In January 2018, Siciliano successfully participated in the 100th running of the Crotona Midnight Run in Congers, NY, and finished fourth in his class.
