John Schnabel is a retired financial planner who has been riding motorcycles for 50 years. He is a high performance driving instructor for the Porsche Club of America, Ferrari Club and BMW Car Club at Lime Rock Park in Connecticut.
Schnabel is member of the Connecticut River Valley BMW riders, Airheads Beemer Club and BMW MOA. In 2019, he rode 9,000 miles, mostly on the back roads in northwest Connecticut and the Berkshires in Massachusetts.
Schnabel owns and rides a 2011 BMW F 800 R, a 1976 BMW R 60/6 and a 1971 BMW R 75/5.
