MINNEAPOLIS – Indian has unveiled its Scout FTR750 flat track race bike, doing so at the 76th annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota.
The Scout FTR750 features “a high-revving, racing V-Twin engine developed in-house and is wrapped in a unique steel frame that allows for a tight wheelbase, large centrally-located airbox and unique carbon fiber body.”
Indian has said repeatedly that this 109-horsepower Scout FTR750 bike is a racing-only model, but would any company spend the kind of money needed for such a project without street aspirations as well?
Yup, thats what we’ve been waiting for. The bike that made Indians name was the Scout, both 37 and 45 cube. The last race winning Indians were Rollie Free tuned 45 cube Sport Scouts.
Road model now please , Polaris, I will be up to see Dennis in Springfield for a test ride on the first day.
