The bikes began arriving early – with those made in Italy directed to the show ground and the rest of us to the parking lot – and by midday the large grassy field at the Hamilton Rod & Gun Club was covered with motorcycles made by Aprilia, Ducati, Moto Guzzi and more for the 29th annual IMOC Rally in Sturbridge, MA.
John Harris, president of the Italian Motorcycle Owners Club, was unable to say whether the event set an attendance record before RIDE-CT.com headed for home back down I-84, but he was pleased with the turnout. He did recall the rally’s origin:
