An April party marking the move of Keith Bruno’s motorcycle repair business in Winsted, known as The Shop, gave RIDE-CT.com the opportunity to meet Mike White of Canaan, who showed up on his 1965 Harley-Davidson Panhead.
In May, RIDE-CT.com attended the vintage automobile and motorcycle show staged by Chesterwood in Stockbridge, MA and got to see a 1933 Scott Sprint Special up close.
The Scott Motorcycle Company was founded in England in 1908. It was best known for its Flying Squirrel model. Only about 35 of the 600cc, two-stroke Sprint Specials were built. The one at the show was owned by Andy Sekelsky of Croton-on-Hudson, NY.
