THOMPSON, CT – The Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park plans a second Thompson Vintage Motorcycle Classic in 2017, but the date will be a little later in the riding season. This year’s inaugural event was staged on May 15, which proved to be a chilly, gusty day. Next year, it will be held on June 25.
As it did this year, the Thompson Vintage Motorcycle Classic will feature an antique bike show, swap meet and track day. There will also be music and food. Other possible elements to help boost attendance are also reportedly being studied.
The presenting sponsor for the event will be Indian Motorcycle of Springfield.
