HARTFORD – The Connecticut International Auto Show, set for Nov. 18-20 at the Connecticut Convention Center, confirms that will add bikes to the mix this year. “Motorcycle Showcase is an all-new feature,” says Chris Russell, advertising and public relations manager for the event.
According to the show’s website, in addition to new vehicles from 27 car makers, the show will have new motorcycle models from BMW, Harley-Davidson, Indian and Victory dealers on display.
Russell notes that “many of the Connecticut Automotive Dealers Association (CARA) members also own motorcycle dealerships.” Having displays will be MAX BMW, Brookfield Indian Motorcycle and Gengras Harley-Davidson.
Bill Eggers of Goshen, CT will display his motorcycle replicas of an 1867 Roper Steam Velocipede and an 1885 Daimler Reitwagen.
“The timing of the Connecticut International Auto Show is perfect because it’s at the start of the holiday season. Give the gift that keeps on rolling,” says Russell, who adds, “We anticipate Motorcycle Showcase to be a successful addition to the Connecticut Auto Show. Ducati has already expressed an interest in participating in 2017.”
Hours for the show are from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19; and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 6-12. Children under 6 are free.
