Support and well-wishes for custom motorcycle builder and website publisher Cyril Huze have been accumulating since yesterday when he announced plans for retirement on May 15 due to a health issue and the end of fresh content on the “Cyril Huze Post.”
“Due to a health issue discovered in 2017 requiring all my attention, I can no longer focus 100% on writing the Cyril Huze Post and traveling intensively in the US and abroad,” Huze wrote.
“Consequently, I plan to retire and turn a new corner in my life to see what it has in store for me. The future of this site has yet to be finalized. In any case, I will silence my keyboard on May 15th and hope for a possible transition. The Cyril Huze Post is doing very well and to this day remains the leading “Daily Custom Motorcycle News” in the digital category. All content and comments, published since its creation in 2006, will stay online indefinitely.”
A native of France, who moved to the U.S. in 1987, Huze founded the Cyril Huze Post in October 2006 and grew it into one of the internet’s most popular motorcycles websites by reviewing custom motorcycle companies and products. It has been a daily resource for not only riders but also for other motorcycle journalists.
Huze concluded his retirement announcement saying, “My strongest emotion right now is deep gratitude to everybody who, during all my life, supported me to make my personal and professional dreams come true across two continents. Thank you so much and I wish many years of success to all of you.”
His revelation generated dozens of supportive comments on his website.
