Limited Edition Models From Harley-Davidson And Indian

Harley-Davidson and Indian are each out with new limited edition models. Harley-Davidson offers the CVO Road Glide, while Indian has the Roadmaster Elite (shown above).

2020 Harley-Davidson CVO Road Glide

The “limited-production, super-premium” CVO Road Glide is powered by a Milwaukee-Eight 117 engine, which is rated at 125 foot-pounds of torque, and has six-speed transmission. Its base price is $40,999.

The CVO Road Glide will be available in only one color scheme: “Premium Sand Dune monotone finish with pearl topcoat and subtle graphics highlighted by Smoked Satin Chrome, Gloss Black and Black Onyx finishes.”

Other features include “H-D Connect,” which provides subscription-based cellular connectivity; heated “Kahuna Collection” hand grips matched with Kahuna shifter pegs, brake pedal cover, muffler end caps, heated grips and rider and passenger boards; and a Boom! Audio 30K Bluetooth helmet.

 The CVO Road Glide is also equipped with Reflex Defensive Rider Systems technology and a 600-watt sound system.

2020 Indian Roadmaster Elite

The Indian Roadmaster Elite will start at $38,999 and will be available in “Thunder Black Vivid Crystal Over Gunmetal Flake.” Indian says each unit will undergo a 30-hour paint process. It, too, has a 600-watt sound system.

The Roadmaster Elite will be powered by a Thunder Stroke 116 engine, producing 126 foot-pounds of torque. It has a six-speed transmission, heated seat, heated handgrips, and three ride modes (Tour, Standard and Sport).

By comparison, the CVO Road Glide has a length of 96.9 inches, a dry weight of 860 pounds, and a seat height of 25.9 inches. It has a 21-inch front wheels and an 18-inch rear wheel. Fuel capacity is five gallons.

The Roadmaster Elite has length of 105.4 inches (with 65.7-inch wheelbase), a dry weight of 919 pounds, and a seat height of 26.5 inches. It has a 16-inch wheel in front and a 19-inch wheel in back. Fuel capacity is 5.5 gallons.

Harley-Davidson is also out with two other limited edition models – the Fat Boy 30th Anniversary edition with a base price of $21,949 and the Road Glide Special with Eagle Eye Special Edition Paint at $29,294.
